- 1 pear, chopped (and peeled, if you’re a pansy)
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup non-dairy milk of your choice, such as soy or cashew
- 3 tbs avocado oil (or your fat of choice)
Throw it in a blender and blend to your desired consistency. Want to liven it up a little? Add a sprig of mint.
Note of caution: While you can freeze some of the fruit to make it cold, this actually damages the digestive tract by re-routing blood to your stomach. This does NOT cool you down, it just re-routes your blood and fools your body into thinking it’s colder. This damage can have profound side effects, so please take care not to consume cold beverages or ice cream regularly.
If you are finding yourself routinely overheated, please take a look here: https://www.pingminghealth.com/article/581/warming-and-cooling-characteristics-of-common-foods/
Please also be aware that you may have a food intolerance that only expresses itself in weight gain. Just because the food is on this list as supplied above at Ping Ming Health does not mean you should eat it and expect a miracle of weight loss. I’d suggest adding in foods from this list one at a time to your current diet over the span of a week or so and note whether or not you’ve lost or gained weight as a result. (Or, stayed the same.) If you gained weight, drop it off and find another food. In fact, take a week or two off from the food to go back to the weight you were before and try the next food.
Although slow and annoying, once you find which foods agree the most with your specific chemistry and your body, the weight will melt away effortlessly and you will never be hungry again.
