Fighting Food Intolerance

God told me today that I know the cure for cancer. I have no evidence I actually have cancer, of course. Apparently SSM Health does from an MRI they took of my belly last year. I’m afraid to call. I don’t want to know.

I’ll tell you how I cured it, just in case he’s telling me the truth and I’m not crazy. Check with your doctor anyway if you plan to take my diet advice. If you don’t have a doctor right now, like me, then listen to your body. Don’t be foolish and just do a crazy fad diet. I tried them all myself, by the way. They never worked. Not once. If you’re in my boat, then this might work for you.

I have lost 40+ pounds eating this way and I’m ready to return to it after a foray into flavor and nutrients. The weight will melt away fast, too, unlike other diets. Faster than keto. It’s so fast, you might think something is wrong with you. If it’s working for you, then what’s wrong with you is that you have cancer in your bowels, an enzyme deficiency, or something else a doctor could diagnose you with and refuses to. They just don’t listen, do they?

I tried every diet known to mankind for over a decade with little efficacy. I tried taking all the advice on what to eat, like oranges and vinegar and so much more. And I did it without falling off the wagon for a long time. Nothing changed. I was still fat and miserable.

The biggest thing anyone can do for weight loss is quit sugar. Stop eating potato, tomato, grains, cane sugar, beet sugar, anything with lactose in it… high fructose everything, and maybe even fruit and absolutely quit high starch plants. Your body will tell you what’s good or bad if you get some well-fitted clothes (ladies, go to TORRID, gentlemen go to Men’s Wearhouse) and take note of whether or not they stop fitting after you eat food.

That’s it. I get inflamed when I eat sugary or high starch foods. It translates into my clothes no longer fitting. Once you lose some weight, you’ll need new clothes that fit in order to continue to figure out what you can and cannot eat. I suggest you replace only your bottoms until your shirts are falling off of you. It’s going to be expensive going to these stores that focus on fitting you into clothes. Pants rarely go on sale.

You’d notice the inflammation if your clothes fit to begin with. It’s really that simple.

I absolutely have an enzyme deficiency, so I’ll tell you how I deal with it. Regardless of what God said about cancer. I diagnosed myself, but after my doctor failing me so miserably, I had no choice.

Here are the foods I can eat. The list is so short, you won’t believe it:

If you have food problems and your waistline doesn’t respond to dieting, here’s what I suggest:

Use this list to form your menu for six weeks. Drink 2-3 cups of distilled or purified water every day. Drink 9 (or more!) cups of spring water per day. This will detox your body. It’s an elimination diet based on my nutrition expert’s advice and my body’s tolerances. If you cannot eat a substance, such as nuts, please avoid — don’t be stupid. You can’t magically eat nuts just because it’s on a random list online.

After you detox, add one new food at a time. Binge it, even. If you feel shitty, stop eating it. Your body can’t handle it right now. It might be able to later, if it just needs to heal from chronic inflammation, but write it on your No-No list and try another one after you go back to baseline. You should note how you feel right after eating, 30 minutes after eating, 3 hours after eating, 12 hours, 24, and 36 hours after eating. This is how long it takes food to go through your digestive system, typically, and might affect your mouth, your esophagus, your stomach, your small intestine, large intestine, or your colon.

An easy way to try new foods is to create a meal plan or list of meals you would be willing to eat from the list above and then once the six week detox is over, you add cinnamon to a smoothie, for example.

Please note that you should take a multivitamin and B complex supplementation to be positive you’re getting enough nutrients. I cannot get enough nutrients from my very limited diet, unfortunately. It worries me, but it worries me more when I eat anything that makes me inflamed. Inflammation is my body’s way to tell me that we cannot tolerate whatever it is that I ate.

Good luck on your journey and don’t forget to take your doctor with you. I’ve divorced my doctor; she nearly killed me. I don’t trust them anymore, but I’m willing to concede I just picked the absolute worst one to try to help me. I’ll try again if I can’t beat this beast by myself, but I think I’d rather go to Canada or Mexico to do that. America just wants to murder me, I’m pretty sure.
