Ingredients:
- 1 cup of low-sugar fruit (cranberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
- a handful of cherries (optional)
- 1 to 2 cups unsweetened nut milk of choice (or water, if nut-free)
- 1/2 cup of sunbutter (no added sugar, of course)
- 1 tbs of healthy plant fat, like avocado or olive oil
Throw it all in the blender. Serves two!
The cherries provide an anti-inflammatory effect.
Cranberries are good for uterine health. They are a source of protein.
Other berries have been known for heart-healthy antioxidants.
It’s best to mix up the fruits to get a variety of nutrients, rather than sticking to your favorite and spoiling yourself rotten. 😉
